Urban sketching

I was out sketching with some new found friends in Paris today. They are the urban sketchers. We sat in a cafe and drew whatever. Most were interested in architecture. I'm more interested in people but it's a rule that you have to include at least one object to be a part of the group, or else it's not urban. Happy I am, to stretch myself a bit. It was very interesting.

Here are a couple of the drawings from today. They are scenes along the rue Rambuteau, Paris 75001. We met beside the Pompidou centre and wandered from cafe to cafe, drawing for several hours.
