Hogwash and Horseshit

It's one thing sticking your mug up on TV to advertise razor blades or teabags, but when you undertake to represent a company that is talking patent bollocks- "Sky care passionately!" ... you really should get your facts straight before volunteering as the face of horseshit on television.

Rang Sky recently to see about getting Discovery and history channels since it would be nice if the kids looked at something other than cartoons to be told that "huh, yeah, weeelll I don't really know what the content of those channels is" Well which channels do I get with the package?

Despite all sorts of regulation we seem to be back in the days of snake oil salesmen. Between bogus hair science, unsubstantiated claims for Omega3 and stuff that MAY help lower cholesterol (as part of a balanced diet)- ie; it's that balanced diet that does whatever good the product claims-I guess ol' George rubbing his tummy, mentally counting his paycheck and sprouting horseshit is insignificant. Still pisses me off no end though.
